86 Market NYC exists to help New York hospitality operators buy and sell equipment fairly and safely. To keep it that way, we prohibit the following.

Prohibited

• Stolen property
• Illegal items or items that cannot be lawfully resold
• Weapons
• Alcohol
• Controlled substances
• Hazardous chemicals
• Expired food
• Counterfeit products
• Equipment recalled for serious safety issues
• Misleading or fake listings
• Discriminatory or abusive conduct

Seller responsibilities

• Only list items you own or are authorized to sell.
• Be accurate about condition, working status, and history.
• Respond promptly to buyers.
• Comply with fire, health, and installation codes.

Buyer responsibilities

• Inspect and test items where possible.
• Confirm dimensions, voltage, phase, and access before purchase.
• Arrange payment and pickup safely.
